Colorado-based therapy for individuals, those seeking to heal from trauma, and members of the lgbtqia+ community
Our session will be
-
Personalized
I believe that your experience is unique, and so is your therapy journey. That’s why I take the time to get to know you and your story. With your healing and growth at the forefront of everything we do, I will work with you to tailor your therapy experience to your specific needs and goals.
-
Relational
Therapy is a deeply personal experience and true healing happens through connection. Life’s challenges can often feel isolating, and our work together will help bridge that gap. You are not alone in this process and together we will develop a space where vulnerability is celebrated and your story is heard.
-
Affirming
My approach will foster your growth in a way that feels empowering and secure. In therapy, every emotion, thought, and experience is valued and honored. Vulnerability can be challenging and daunting at times, but it is also one of the most powerful catalysts for change. At the core of my approach is an affirming philosophy that honors and holds your unique identity and experiences.

TRAUMA & PTSD
My approach in working with trauma is person-centered and connection-driven, honoring that we are not designed to heal from trauma alone. By co-creating a relationship built on trust, safety, and unwavering support, our work together will provide the anchor for transformational healing. Processing trauma often involves more than traditional talk-therapy, recognizing that in order to heal the root of trauma, we must also address the impact on your nervous-system. Our work will support you in developing safe and healthy neural-pathways, building off of your brain’s incredible resilience and ability to heal.

EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an evidence-based modality used for processing traumatic experiences, using bilateral stimulation. I personally have seen EMDR support clients in processing trauma that they have felt stuck with or have previously struggled to address in talk-therapy alone. EMDR is used to address past traumatic memories, as well as current triggers and potential future challenges. EMDR allows us to heal the root of your trauma, acknowledging that trauma healing happens within your nervous system and body. You won’t be on this journey alone and I will be right there with you to serve as a safe and compassionate container for your story.

LGBTQIA+ Therapy
LGBTQ+ affirming therapy provides clients with the space to explore all aspects of how your identify impacts your life, relationships, and sense of self. In therapy we can support and affirm your identify in many ways, such as exploring your identify (sexuality, gender, etc) as a whole and addressing challenges such internalized homophobia, discrimination, transphobia, and coming out. LGBTQ+ therapy with me may also include processing and healing from trauma, recognizing the prevalence of trauma and traumatic experiences within the LGBTQ+ population. In our work we will honor and celebrate all of you and the experiences you hold.

Individual Therapy
I partner with clients in individual therapy to work towards long-term and sustainable healing. I believe in a person-centered, relational, and evidenced-based therapy approach. We will move beyond the surface and dive deep into the root of what you are experiencing. You’ll have support every step of the way, and I will hold a safe, authentic, and sacred space for you and your story.
In therapy we can address: PTSD/trauma symptoms, processing past trauma, isolation/loneliness, shame/self-blame, anxiety, relationship issues, LGBTQ+ specific concerns, self-harm, and much more.
Animal Assisted Therapy with Harleigh

For clients who are interested, I will be offering animal-assisted therapy with my dog, Harleigh, starting in 2025. Connection is one of the most healing aspects of therapy, and in sessions Harleigh can provide an increased sense of comfort to accompany you on your therapy journey. Harleigh can support you in processing trauma by serving as a grounding point and anchor, providing regulation to both your mind and body. In sessions, Harleigh can support us in establishing a safe environment where she serves as a constant ally who provides a stable presence during difficult moments.
Harleigh is a long-haired Dachshund- Mini Aussie mix and she loves hiking and taking naps in the sun. Both Harleigh and I are currently working with Professional Therapy Dogs of Colorado to prepare her for becoming the best furry co-therapist.
