Hi, I’m ASHLEY.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive training in working with clients who have experienced trauma.

My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and warm environment to promote deep healing. I recognize that the therapeutic bond can be one of the most healing aspects of therapy, and my greatest passion is developing meaningful relationships with all of the clients I work with. My clients are some of my favorite people, and developing a strong partnership is the foundation of my work. Therapy with me is a collaborative approach, and as a team we will develop our work together to support your most authentic self.

While I support clients with a wide variety of life experiences and concerns, a strong focus of mine is supporting survivors of sexual violence/abuse and gender-based violence. I additionally work with trauma outside of gender-based violence such as and not limited to, childhood physical/emotional abuse/neglect and accidents/natural disasters.

I have received training in various trauma treatment approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Experimental Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). I place strong value and commitment in continuing my education and expertise, regularly seeking advanced training to best support my clients.

I also hold a strong passion for supporting folks in the LGBTQ+ community. As a queer therapist, my goal is to create an environment to support all of the identities that my clients hold, recognizing the importance of honoring all aspects of who we are. We are all a part of many systems, and my approach includes understanding the intersections of our various identities and how they impact our experience with ourselves and the world.

We aren’t meant to do this work alone, and as your therapist I will walk alongside you in your healing journey to co-create a space of curiosity, humor, compassion, and vulnerability. I will honor and hold your story while celebrating your strength and resilience to step into this work with me.

Outside of the office you can find me spending time with the people I love, enjoying nature and the mountains, or teaching a yoga class.
